memories and remarkable stories, pictures with some text, all about the family

Beautiful start in the day!

Someone had dug a hole in the ice and spread out water to make a better surface. It had some decent areas as a result.

Knox, Siena and I use the early morning hour for a walk to the closest Dunkin (20 min) to grab a toasted bagle twist, 2 for the three of us, read the obligatory 20 min and then walk back. It was snowing and a little nasty but we did not get deterred and took turns in explaining what happens in our respective books. Knox is still in the huge Harry Potter volume 4, Siena reads Sunny side up, and I just started Hamilton.

Game in Dorchester vs Dorchester.
The game was a tough loss and there were only 5 kids playing 4 vs 4, as usual, so long shifts. Siena scored one goal, Yay!

16 F and out here it feels even colder, it is 9 F. Locker room is wild.

It was 1 F this morning when I got to my Wednesday hockey game in Woburn at 5:50am, and much better when I took this picture down in Cambridge at 8:45am. It was a nice dry cold with sunshine and no wind.
