Mother’s Day

Today is mother’s day…. and I have not spoken to my mum in a l long time. She had hip replacement surgery and is in a rehabilitation center and we only speak through my father. She is doing fine I hear: “Go, mum!!”. Sometimes she reads the news from the PausHaus, so here are some hearty greetings and a big thank you to my mum for being my mum. I attach some nice photos from Ivan’s first communion because I know she likes them.

Ivan getting ready to enter in the church for the celebration of his first communion.

The celebration of his first communion is over now. Everybody looks pretty happy. (Note to myself: tell the program to rotate that picture....)

… and as I am again at CERN and cannot congratulate my wife for being a terrific mother to our children, here a big thank you and a kiss. I will call later.
