Markus: Mum, clear my schedule for the weekend….

Spring excursion in Winter.

Core Patriots hangout.

Knox likes to take a little nap after breakfast. This is on Presidents’ Day 2017 (February 20). Knox had been on a nice walk at Horn Pond before with the entire family. Ana decided Knox was ready for real trekking after he had just taken a good run and only three falls.
We are wondering how he will deal with the arrival of his little sister in May.

Time is flying, another goid moment to see where we are with the kids. Knox has started potty training, every morning I take the little guy with me to do our morning business together. Great moments to bond and a great opportunity to make progress towards less diapers.
Ivan on the other hand moved into his own room, my former home office. Very small but the big TV and the PS4 have sweatened the deal. Middleschool so far no problem at all.
Just found this wonderful picture of Markus in our collection. I remember I was taking photos just to get a few good shots of the kids in December 2009 shortly after Bake was born. Markus has always been able to come out well on shots. This one is particularly nice. He looks like as if he had done something wrong and got caught in the act. I do not recall that to be the case but it is another proof of Markus charm.
I was about to go to bed, but I thought, if anyone can do it…. and he did, of course with a fantastic team. Key point, the defense was able to stop them falcons.
Early morning match in Arlington with Blake’s team. After last week’s clear win over Waltham in their ice cold home arena they are all ready to take it back to Arlington. Blake plays in the defense for the first time. He needs a few rounds until he finally says at the blue line to play his position.
It is a heated battle, where Waltham goes up 1:0, Arlington comes back to 1:1 and Waltham scores back to 2:1. Arlington in the next play equalizes (2:2), and goes into the lead with 3:2. Now the team has settled and defense and offense play well. The game ends with a convincing performance in a 8:4 win.
This brings the streak up to three and they have won four of the last five.
