Beginning was completely fine, but once the big flat and reasonably steep stone plates started it got a bit dicy&#8230;. shoes were slipping and we should have been better prepared. The peaks were awesome. We had enough water and a great BLT. Ana was slow but steady, my Achilles started to hurt pretty bad on the way down (injured in Badminton game the week before), Knox and Siena&#8217;s shoes slipped too much. Otherwise all great. Will do an easier trail next time to build up stamina and get some better shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ana&#8217;s dream of doing Welch-Dickey has now finally come true.
