On her way to school rushing to be on time Ana slipped and broke her ankle as it turns out. She heard a crack, and it was later confirmed at MIT medical. Ligaments in the foot might be ruptured, too… orthopedic surgeon will have a look tomorrow.

It turns out surgery is needed. The ligaments are affected and a metal plate will be inserted. The upside as Ana puts it: I can walk on the foot pretty much right after surgery, except for it will hurt a lot.
