Waiting for the elevator.

The awesome couple.
My first UROP student at MIT, Stefan Gromoll and Emily Kleinman, got married on Saturday Oct 18 on Hauppage on Long Island in New York.
We went with a car on one of the great road trips and found our hotel in Hauppage. It was awesome and even had a pool where of course we went. The kids also really loved the hottub and the gym. We were really very nicely softened up to get on the bus and join this wonderful wedding. When we took the photo in front of the elevator Blake was late, so he did not make it into the picture.
Getting ready for the wedding for real now. I had to buy this tie, as I forgot mine turned out to be one I like, from Target I believe ;-). From the hotel we drove over to Gromoll house and had the ceremony on the beach right at the house. It was very windy and we were glad we had some wind breaking jackets on. We had some very nice drinks and cheese and crackers. The ceremony was down to Earth and hearty. After we got these two permanently hooked we returned to the yard of Gromoll house where we entered a nice white tent and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with music, speeches and drinks. The couple had brewed 8 types of beers themselves, very impressive.
Stefan kept it understated but Emily went all the way, both looking fantastic. Here is the awesome couple.
