The artic blast came in on Friday morning and reached full force in the evening hours and overnight. First skate with Knox at seven, Markus wrestling shortly after, Siena practice at eight, and my game at 8:15. Driving was crazy and only possible because Lee drove Knox and Katja from the game in Waltham to Somerville and Ana picked them up… the skate was unbelievable, crisp ice, cold air, sharpened skates and a nice goal and assist to top it off.
Winners of the 44th Christmas Tourney is the Mites 3 team, Knox’s team.
We are waiting for the game to start, while Ivan ( Babi) is dressing Knox for the game.
It is time for the Christmas tourney again. Knox’s Mite team (Mite 3) won all three games and is going to the finals. They will meet Winchester, their first opponent.
One and a half hour 3v3, half ice at the MIT rink. Pooped.

This young German lad had an early hockey game on his birthday. And the best present was that he scored his first real game goal and the team won against a good Dorchester team (7:10).
